Brivibas street winter streetscene

From far away suburbs to the centre of city - this is Brīvības street, picture from yesterday. Density does it's job - in cold days of January, the temperature in city's central part was significantly higher than in suburbs - one morning, f.e, difference reported by the Latvian Meteorological centre was 7 degrees - minus 26 in suburbs and only minus 19 in centre. Btw, Riga has got the thickest layer of snow in this week (of this winter and I believe also some 10 last ones) - about 50 cm.
